Measles Vaccination

Measles can be a serious and life-threatening illness. As a public health measure, and in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, the University requires verification of measles (rubeola) immunity for all students born after December 31, 1956.

Documentation for Proof of Immunity to Measles (Rubeola)

1. Two doses of measles vaccine received after one year of age, at least 4 weeks apart -OR-
2. A blood test (titer) showing immunity from a previous vaccination to measles -OR-
3. History of measles disease, healthcare provider signature required
